How to Remove top news and side news bar

Remove Top news bar

1. Open the trerminal

Sudo su
password

Follow the the command
2. Go to the home.jsp file
 gedit /dspace/webapps/jspui/home.jsp 

3. Remove this  selected Portion
 

Then save and close the file
